DESCRIPTION:It is hard to even describe the disappointment\, pain and sadness of what is happening in Ukraine\, Russia and many other parts of Europe and the whole world in this moment. It has been really amazing to teach in Russia for the last about 15 years. The students are dedicated and friendly. Beautiful beings. New we don’t know when we will be back..the war/invasion is going on..I feel compassion and deep love for the students in Russia. I pray for a Peace and Peace and Peace again and again..to find the solution and clarity. Stay together..Yogis for the PEACE!\n  \nIt will be amazing to go back to Moscow and teach with my great friend and colleague Alex Smirkin. The workshop place\, schedule and other details will be announced soon. \nThe workshop in Moscow will take place in September 29 – October 2 2022. \nAfter the Moscow workshop we will move to Lake Ladoga for a one week Ashtanga Retreat in October 3-9. The retreat will be organised by Alex Smirkin and Oksana Gorkina and they will also assist Petri at the shala. The retreat resort is a 10 minutes walk to the lake and is surrounded with a beautiful nature. \nThere will be a good time to relax and meet the fellow ashtangis. In the afternoons there will be workshops\, discussions and pranayama sessions with Petri. \nIn 2021 retreat we did an amazing trip to Konevsky Monastery..this can be repeated also in 2022 retreat (or some other interesting location). \nWelcome to practice and learn more the Ashtanga tradition! \nWarmly\, \nPetri\, Alex and Oksana \n  \nPhoto by Kate Budzul (Lake Ladoga\, Konevsky Monastery island in the background \, 2021)
